Very Very Interesting Article on Adding a Templating Language to WordPress

For the first half of this article, I really disagreed with Jared that WP should have a templating language.  My primary reason came from my experience as a teacher helping students learn PHP while customizing WordPress (and vice versa).  If WordPress had a templating language it would make it a less ideal environment for web development students, in my opinion.

However, from a developer’s perspective, heck yeah!  I love template languages and good ones definitely make life easier if you’re living in code.  I was impressed with the detail of the article and how he goes over the different options.  Especially cool is his own templating project, “Timber.”
