Hat’s off to Brian for a well written little article here on Barley, an front-end/inline content editor plugin for WordPress.
He mentions the currently under work WP inline editing project and reaches out to the folks at Barley to better understand their intentions for the plugin longer term. Barley has a history an existance outside WP so it’s interesting to see them extend their reach into other CMS communities.
I haven’t tried it yet, but when it works consistently, front-end editing can be a great solution for clients who need to manage their own sites. Check out how it works.
